Georgia Power NE Credit Union’s Skip-A-Payment Program* may be just what you need!

By participating in the Skip-A-Payment program you can skip one payment per 12-month period on your Georgia Power NE Credit Union loan. For a small processing fee of $20, you can choose the month you would like to skip your payment – and we’ll take care of the rest. We’ll even deduct the processing fee from your savings or checking account so you don’t have to send us any money.

And, if you make your payments via payroll deduction or direct deposit, the amount of your skipped payment will be deposited into your savings account. Interest will continue to accumulate on your loan during the month you skip your payment.

To request a Skip-A-Payment, print this form. Then just either mail or fax your request to us.

*All GPNECU accounts must be in good standing and the loan for which you are requesting a Skip-A-Payment. All real estate and delinquent loans are excluded.

Your request must be received on or before the due date of your loan.

The three nationwide consumer reporting companies have set up one central website through which you can order a free annual credit report.  You can also request a report by phone or by mail. You may order from each of the three nationwide consumer reporting companies at the same time, or from only one or two. The law allows you to order one free copy of your credit report every 12 months from each of the nationwide consumer reporting companies: Equifax, Experian and TransUnion.
